Please join us for the Litany, Solemn Mass, and Benediction of the Relic of the True Cross.
Every day in Lent, the Missal marks a Station at a Church in the city of Rome, meaning that in days past the Pope would celebrate Mass there on that day. The Stational churches still recognize these stations today, with a special liturgy featuring the Litany of the Saints in procession, Mass, and benediction with relics.
Monday after the Second Sunday in Lent, the Station is at the Basilica of S. Clement, principal Patron Saint of the parish. Therefore, we celebrate the Stational Liturgy as a Lenten devotion for the Parish.
