ELCOME FROM THE RECTOR
Welcome to our web-site. As you will see, if you explore it, many hours of work go into keeping it up to date and of interest not only to S. Clement’s congregation, but also to a very wide circle of friends and supporters throughout the world.
The traditional way of celebrating the Mass is making a come-back in both
the Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches, and I have had many fascinating
letters from priests who say they have used our service sheets and our splendid
pictures to get it right. This should make me very careful at the altar
– who knows how many might copy my errors!
Please pray for S. Clement’s and become a Friend
of S.Clement’s by filling in this
form. You will be prayed for daily at the Shrine Prayers, and once a
year by name. If you are in the Philadelphia area, come and worship with
us.
If you love good music, we have one of the best
choirs in America, and first-rate organists.
If you want to experience a little of “the beauty of holiness”
, the High Mass gives us a wonderful time to rest in the Lord, praying and
praising with all our senses.
If you want friendship and fellowship, come and join our Coffee Hour, our
Receptions, our classes, our outreach groups. Whatever your talents, you
will be valued.
If you cannot be here in person, but need prayers for yourself or for your
loved ones, send me their names and they will be included in the daily Novena
to Our Lady of Clemency at 5.45 each evening.
And if God has blessed you with worldly goods, a
donation will be greatly appreciated. It will go to maintain our work
and witness here at S. Clement’s.
May God bless you and keep you in his care.
GORDON REID.
